The Grand Tetons is a painting of an angle deep in the heart of the Tetons, miles and miles away from the external world. This shot was taken by a friend while backpacking, when the mountains were lush with wildflowers and life. Having backpacked this loop myself, this spot was very dear to me, and it was truly a pleasure to get to paint something so majestic yet intimate at the same time.
